The pastries are by far the star of the show. They offer a unique asian-inspired selection, with the most notable being the School Bun. It’s a donut-y thing with vanilla creme and raspberry preserves in the center. Definitely recommend. Come earlier in the day, as they tend to sell out.
The interior vibe, scenic views, and outdoor seating are great. Right by the water, it’s best appreciated on a sunny day.
The coffee is alright, but nothing to write home about. $3 for drip coffee isn’t bad for Seattle price wise. The food items can also be skipped and pale in comparison to the pastries.
Amazing place in UDistrict by the water. The cinnamon rolls are to die for. The cheeseburger is yummy. The fries are among the best I’ve had in the city. Huge seating place with some tables by the water too. The coffee is tasty as well. Can’t go wrong with this place.
Saint Bread is a fun spot located on the water by UW. Lots of outdoor seating now that they’ve expanded. Parking can be very challenging and their parking lot only fits about 6-7 cars. Don’t let the long line deter you, it moves quickly. Pastries are good and so is the coffee.
I shared the Okonomiyaki style tortilla and the rice bowl with salmon. The Okonomiyaki was an interesting flavor combo. More like an egg soufflé meets a frittata with shaved smoked salmon skin. Not my personal favorite, but the dish was interesting and tasty. The salmon bowl was good, but it’s not your typical “bowl”. More plate lunch style with pickled veggies. Without the salmon I feel this dish would have been very lackluster. Overall my experience was good and I would go back.
Wonderful product with great outdoor seating (covered).
Line can get long but it tends to move and if the weather is nice, makes for a good stand. If you find yourself near, especially at non traditional eating time, check the place out.
Get it to go and check out the shoreline park nearby.
Love the cardamom croissant and the breakfast sandwich.
Recommend and will return.
This cafe is near the UW Montlake/Marina, and is tucked away on a side street overlooking the water. The coffee shop is very small and doesn’t have inside seating, but they did have a heated deck area outside. (Being that it’s December, it’s probably more enjoyable to come here when it’s warmer outside.)
There’s a pastry case by the register with a limited but delicious looking set of baked goods. They have specialty coffee drinks, teas, and beer/wine offerings as well as a Japanese inspired cafe menu with soups, salads and sandwiches.
I got a miso caramel latte, slice of yuzu polenta cake, and the rice bowl with salmon. Everything was very good - I’ll definitely visit again.
(Their business card is very cool - it makes a great bookmark/souvenir.)
This place is great. Such a cool location on the water with tons of outdoor seating. The miso Carmel latte was very tasty. Had the pleasure of meeting a cool person that works here, Kimberly on two occasions. One for breakfast the other for the nighttime pop-up where they have a great Japanese food truck and cocktails in a little cut to the right of Saint Bread. Great addition to the Seattle food scene!

Delicious bread and pastry,
Tried their specialty cardamom buns, warm, heartfilling and so fragrant
The toast with cinnamon are just OK
The coffee is just average
Baked goods of the highest quality! ✨ the cardamom knot is to die for! Coffees were good too. No indoor seating, so we sat outdoors (they have heaters) but had to constantly watch out for the bees. I would prefer to pick up next time.
